How to Use the Facebook Pages App to Reply to Comments

Using the Facebook Pages App you can easily see all comments on your posts in one place. In addition to the convenience of having all the comments in one place, you can also systematically reply to them, one-by-one, marking them off as you respond to each one - much like a checklist.

Using the app is very simple. Follow the steps below.

Step 1

If you haven't already downloaded the app to your mobile device, search for Facebook Pages in the App Store or Google Play Store and then download.

Step 2

Sign in with your Facebook Profile login and any Pages which you are added as an user for will appear in your list of pages. Select the page you want to manage.

Step 3

Select the "Inbox" icon at the center of the bottom Facebook Pages App menu. This will load up all the most recent comments.

Step 4

Click "Reply" under the comment to reply directly to that specific person (though anyone will be able to read your response). Continue to do this for each additional comment you wish to reply to.

Step 5

When you're finished responding to a given post, click the ✅ in the upper right hand corner to dismiss the notification from your "Inbox" and move on to the next comment.

Tips for Replying to Comments

If you are an individual or a personality, the more personal you can be and speak directly to the individual, the better. You don't have to tell your life story and you don't have to try and recite theirs - all you need to do is acknowledge their comment, answer any questions as best you can (even if it's to say you don't have an answer) and be awesome to them.

If you are replying on behalf of a company, still be personal and respond directly to that person. It is particularly good form to add " - Your Name" at the end of the comment so they can connect a name to the response. Like responding as an individual, just be awesome to people.
